Associate Marketing Manager

The Associate Marketing Manager is creative, detail-oriented, and a results-driven person who supports the execution and coordination of key marketing initiatives. This role will be responsible for managing website projects, content creation, brand asset development, affiliate marketing, advertising, agency coordination, and performance reporting.

MARINE OPERATIONS

Seasonal Deckhand - Jetty Island

Hiring for a part-time seasonal position that will provide deckhand service on a passenger ferry between Everett and Jetty Island. The season begins in early July and runs through Labor Day weekend. Mandatory training dates include June 23-25 in Seattle and July 7th in Everett. The ideal candidate is safety focused while remaining personable, energetic, friendly and warm to fellow guests and crew members. 

Where is Orientation?

Orientation is usually at our Pier 55 corporate office located on the Seattle Central Waterfront.

Do I need previous experience or professional credentials to work on your boats?

Our captains are the only boat-based positions that require previous experience and a U.S. Coast Guard Master 100 GT Inland license. Vessel crew are required to perform a variety of duties including bartending, narrating, and deck handing. You do not need experience in any of these areas because we've developed a thorough training program to ensure you have the skills to handle these duties safely while having fun!

Will I be able to stay working with Argosy if I am hired as a seasonal crew member?

Argosy may offer Temporary or Seasonal crew members new positions as their end date approaches based on the needs of the business and performance of the individual. Please inquire with your manager if hired.

What will my first couple of weeks look like?

Onboarding and training times vary by department. In general Day 1 consists of orientation, paperwork, uniform check, and learning hospitality basics. Day 2 - 14 is where the fun begins! You'll meet your job specific trainer, who will introduce you to the team and train you on the most important topics. Lastly, Day 14+ you are done with training and ready to share fun and adventure with your team and guests!
